Aon M&A and Transaction Solutions (AMATS) is a diverse team of transaction experts who are focussed on securing investments and enhancing returns through specialist deal advisory services and transaction solutions. You will be given the opportunity to work with some of Aon’s most prestige M&A clients on a variety of deal situations including directly with our client’s deal teams. This is a fast-paced environment.

Your area of competence

  • Primary objective is to grow and manage the AMATS Cyber M&A business working directly with the EMEA Head of Cyber M&A.
  • Educate and evangelise the market on Cyber M&A including speaking at events, client presentations and writing whitepapers
  • Responsible for achieving commercial growth of the business, effectively managing the Cyber M&A sales cycle including client pitches, proposals and engagement onboarding
  • Leverage existing Aon Cyber Solutions capabilities and resources to deliver successful client outcomes in the M&A market across EMEA
  • Responsible for quality of end-to-end client delivery across Cyber Due diligence, Cyber post-deal reviews, improvement activities and other transaction scenarios to achieve successful outcomes
  • Manage and co-ordinate Cyber delivery resources in multiple geographies whilst taking line management responsibility for the development of assigned individuals
  • Contribute to the broader AMATS practice success

Your profile

  • Experience and/or appetite to operate in a dynamic M&A environment, ideally with Private Equity firms during pre-deal and portfolio. May also include internal corporate M&A experience performing carve-outs and integrations.
  • Experience advising and influencing C-Level executives including CIO / CTO, CISO and non-technical executives such as CFO
  • Broad Cyber knowledge across multiple domains with a specialism in one or more areas such security design, infrastructure, applications, data, operations, cloud and/or SDLC
  • Strong understanding of European regulatory requirements such as EU GDPR and NIS. Also international standards such as PCI-DSS
  • Familiarity with digital innovation trends and the impact of Cyber Security
  • MUST have consulting experience with ability to analyse and structure problems at pace, preferably having worked in a Big 4 or large consulting firm
  • MUST have high-quality written and communications skills
  • Proven experience across Cyber Security project lifecycle including security assessment, strategy, design and delivery down to and including technical teams
  • Capability of articulating Cyber Security risks and strategy fluently in technical and business terms with ability to join dots between the two across varying business operating models
  • Proven experience running engagements with diverse teams in multiple geographies
  • Commercial experience winning and growing cyber projects including the end-to-end profitability and client quality
